Xiaomi, which is becoming one of the most trusted brands in Indian mid-segment smartphone market, has finally launched it’s highly anticipated, bezel-less phone in India. The company announced its bezel-less display flagship phone at an event in New Delhi today at 12PM
Xiaomi India posted some tweets, talking about the features of this smartphone and its availability.
With a price tag of Rs. 35,999 in India, it aims to compete with the OnePlus 5. The company has only launched the 6GB, 128GB storage variant in the country, with no mention of whether the other variants will be launching here as well. The smartphone will be available via Flipkart and Mi.com in a preview sale on October 17. The phone will be available for everyone online from the first week of November, and it will then go on sale via Mi Home and other offline retailer partners in addition. Sadly, Xiaomi didn’t mention any launch offer for Mi MIX 2, except zero percent EMI , which will be available via all retail channels.
“Mi Mix 2, that was launched in China on September 11, sold its first batch in flat 58 seconds,”, Lead Product Manager at Xiaomi India.

The smartphone comes with a 5.99-inch full-HD LCD bezel-less display with 1080×2160 pixels resolution. The screen has an aspect ratio of 18:9.The device has Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC processor, Adreno 540 GPU for gaming, 6GB RAM and 128GB on-board memory and 3,400mAh battery.
Mi MIX 2 comes with dual-SIM support and USB Type-C port for charging.
The camera on this phone is no slouch too, it packs in a 12MP rear camera with dual flash and 4-axis Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) to reduce jerks while shooting a video to help in capturing some and houses Sony IMX386 sensor. The device is backed by a 3,400mAh battery which comes along with Quick Charge 3.0 support.
