The mighty Oppo Find X will only cost Rs. 59,900! You can buy it starting 3rd August from Flipkart.

Oppo has kept the price of the phone considerably lower than its international pricing.

A lot of us presumed that Find might not end up coming to India, Oh, we were wrong. It’s not only here, its also way cheaper than it’s outrageously expensive international pricing.

It was launched today in New Delhi. Oppo Find X features a full-screen display and comes with top-end specifications. The phone had already been announced globally in Paris on June 19. Oppo Find X has a price of Rs 59,990 and it will go on sale from August 3 on Flipkart. Oppo has also said that the Lamborghini edition of Find X will come to India soon, though the price and release date is not confirmed.

Oppo is promoting the motorized camera as a major breakthrough for the smartphone industry as a means to get rid of the notch while implementing facial recognition technology. The motorized camera will feature as a ‘pop up’ housing for the front and rear camera modules, something no other smartphone in the market offers at the moment. The 3D ‘Stealth Camera’ of the Oppo Find X is said to be more accurate than the fingerprint sensor, while its Hide Apps and Private Safe functions ensure the security of users’ data. It also has the VOOC fast-charging technology, Snapdragon 845 processor, Android Oreo baked in, and support for Android P.

You can pre-order this gorgeous from 25th July.

Flipkart will be competing with Amazon with Big shoping day sale from 16th July.

It’s not just Amazon. Flipkart is also hosting a surprise Big Shopping Days sale from July 16. The e-commerce giant will be hosting the Big Shopping Days sale starting July 16 at 4PM. The sale will continue until July 19. With the Big Shopping Days sale, Flipkart is looking to compete with its rival, Amazon India. Amazon will be hosting Prime Day sale on the same day, on July 16 (12PM afternoon), and end on July 17 (00.00 hours).

During the Big Shopping Days sale Flipkart will be offering big discounts on products across categories, including smartphones. For the sale, Flipkart has partnered with State Bank of India (SBI) to offer an instant discount of up to 10 percent. To avail the SBI offer, customers will need to shop with their SBI credit card. There are other terms and conditions attached to the discount offer, which Flipkart is yet to reveal.

Both Flipkart and Amazon start their big sales on July 16th, where Flipkart is giving 44 hours of extra offers and discounts. The Amazon sale is offering discounts and offers on almost all products across different categories and Flipkart is not doing anything different here. But, Amazon is also adding content to its digital streaming platform Amazon prime Video for the sale. However, the sale benefits are only for the Amazon Prime members which is not the case with Flipkart. Anyone with a will to spend money can take part in the Flipkart sale. Also, Flipkart hasn’t revealed the entire terms and conditions for the sale, so we can’t say anything for sure, as of now. Amazon India also claims that this year’s Prime Day sale will be bigger than that in last year and will be on for 36-hours straight. Last year, the sale was live for 24-hours only. The e-commerce giant says that the Prime Day this year will see over 200 exclusive new product launches from top brands including Bosch, Acer, Intel, OnePlus, HP among the other. There will be discount offers on Amazon Echo devices, All New Kindle, Fire TV Stick, Kindle Oasis and Kindle Paperwhite. Flipkart is still offering more sale hours than Amazon and the Rush Hour deals from Flipkart are similar to the Prime Day Flash Sales on Amazon. The sales on the platform go live in 5 days. Stay tuned for more updates from the e-commerce giants.

Youtube got its own Incognito mode now! Happy viewing folks!

Is Google is trying to create a conflict between its own two in-house apps

The YouTube app for Android is getting a suprise update today, as its probably available on your Phone so to speak: A legendry Chrome-like Incognito mode, that will let users browse videos on the mobile app without worrying about their watch or search history.

The app displays a couple of markers that don’t go away when you’re in incognito mode: the familiar icon with hat and glasses takes over your avatar, while a bar at the bottom clearly states that “You’re incognito.” Although YouTube’s menu is still fully visible while the mode is switched on, you can only access the Home and Trending options. If you try to go Subscriptions, Inbox and Library, you’ll get a blank screen and a notice that they’ll only be visible if you turn incognito off. The latest version of YouTube that comes with the new mode is now available for download, so all you’ve got to do to get the feature is update your app.

Follow the instructions below if having trouble enabling it:

1. Open the YouTube app.
2. Tap your account icon at the top right.
3. Tap Turn on Incognito.
4. If it’s your first time using Incognito, tap Got it on the pop-up.

If you want to disable Incognito Mode:

1. Tap your account icon at the top right (now showing the Incognito icon).
2. Tap Turn off Incognito at the bottom of your screen.

Be aware of all Incognito feature and don’t just assume:

Incognito Mode is a great addition to the YouTube app, but it’s important to be aware of its limitations.

Videos you watch while Incognito is enabled won’t show up in your search or watch history, but your activity is still tracked by Google. Also, as noted in the YouTube app when turning Incognito on for the first time, your activity can still be viewed by your internet provider, employer, or school.

A Lamborghini driver accelerates so fast that ends up under a brand new Honda Civic!

The driver of the damaged Lamborghini is all set to go out and buy another supercar to replace this wrecked vehicle

The crash occurred on Friday night at the West Loop in Chicago. A Lamborghini Huracan Spyder was rear ended by another car pushing it onto a Honda Civic parked at the rear. The Lamborghini driver accidentally stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake and this is what caused the unfortunate crash.

The couple in the Lamborghini was on their way to dinner when the incident occurred. Dmitry Richie, the driver of the Lamborghini which got wedged under the Honda Civic, stated that instead of hitting the brakes he rammed on the accelerator causing the wedge shaped car to slide under the Honda Civic.

Thinking about it, it looks to us that the Lamborghini’s wedged shape proves to be advantageous in accidents like this. Instead of the car absorbing the impact, the Huracan went underneath, which we think could have lessened the shock brought about to the the Lambo’s driver and passenger.

It’s also commendable how the Huracan Spyder was able to protect its occupants even without a roof. The driver was even able to recall that the first thing that came to his mind was to get out of the vehicle since gasoline was leaking, which might set the car on fire.

On the bright side, aside from being left unharmed, the CBS report said that the couple would go on car shopping this Monday to replace the wrecked Huracan Spyder. I think it’s safe to say that they will still go for a Lambo after this incident.

A new Xiaomi’s flagship code named Beryllium is heading to India! Will sport Snapdragon 845 and many more!

Xiaomi Mi8 may be coming to India sooner than later.

Earlier this year, we obtained evidence that Xiaomi was working on at least four flagship smartphone devices with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 system-on-chip. This included the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S (“Polaris“), Xiaomi Mi 8 (“dipper“), the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition (“ursa“), and a fourth device that we did not share any information on because we were unsure where the product would fit into Xiaomi’s portfolio. (The company technically has a fifth flagship device with the Snapdragon 845—the Black Shark (“shark”)—however, that device does not run MIUI nor does it not have any Xiaomi branding.) Now, we are ready to reveal information on this fourth Xiaomi flagship smartphone, code-named “Beryllium,” which we believe will be available in India.

According to the report, the alleged fourth flagship will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and Adreno 630 GPU. It is also suggested that the Beryllium flagship would have an LCD display with 18:9 aspect ratio, which means it wouldn’t bear a notch like the Mi 8 series.

There is a good reason to believe that the new Beryllium flagship will make its way to India and soon. Xiaomi’s new IPO move has not yielded great results and Samsung is pushing hard to increase its business and monopolize the Indian phone market. The Xiaomi flagship phones Xiaomi Mi 8 and Xiaomi Beryllium, as we know it, for now, have no better market to foray into, as the smartphone buyer base is on a rapid rise here.

Plus, the leaks have shown that the Beryllium device has a local and global firmware branch already, so the product is to make its local and global debut simultaneously. There also have been leaks showing the Beryllium handset’s camera app to have two specific India filters, which makes it obvious that the device is being made with a distinct version for the Indian market.

Speculation is also rife that the new Beryllium device might make its debut in India alongside or quickly following the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 8 flagship model.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 is expected to launch late in July at a price tag of Rs 24,500, quite lucrative for a product of this specifications range. It packs a bezel-less 6.2-inch Full HD display with a 20MP front camera, the first to be so strong in this price range. The rear dual camera comes with LED flash and 12MP+12MP sensors and the front and rear cameras both come with night-time video shooting and artificial intelligence features. The 3,400 mAh non-removable battery comes with fast charging support and the connectivity features include dual SIM with 4G + VOLTE support, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Type-C charging and Bluetooth 5.0.

The device comes in a standard 6GB+64GB RAM and memory variant and boots Android 8.0 Oreo OS.

The next IPhone will support fast charging with USB-C cable just like Android phones.

We will be enjoying the support fast charging.

There are a lot of rumors and reports going on around the upcoming iPhones. While we have seen a plethora of them suggesting the design, configuration, and camera, this new report states that Apple will change the charging cable, not only its port but also the speed of charging the Iphone. Yes, we are talking about fast charging

Apple is expected to release several new iPhone models at its September event later this year, and it has been rumored that they could come bundled with a new charger. The leaked charger suggests that Apple is finally switching to USB-C.

Having said that, iPhone users can finally rejoice as Apple is planning to bundle a new 18W charger with this year’s iPhones, along with a USB-C to Lightning cable. A post on Weibo was spotted by MacRumors that cites supply chain sources about Apple’s new plan. The new MacBook laptops only have USB-C ports which made life difficult for iPhone users as they could not connect with any of the new iPhones without a dongle. This problem will probably be resolved now thanks to the USB-C to Lightning cable bundle.

Fans of the probable Surface phone signs petition to request Microsoft to not ditch the POA.

Surface phone might be the most ambitious plan of Microsoft in the their smartphone career yet.

It’s been a whirlwind week for Microsoft’s Project Andromeda, better known as the quasi-mythical Surface Phone. Just when a report from The Verge indicated Andromeda was a real product nearing an announcement, another one said it was likely to be shelved.

Now fans are fighting back. Surface Phone enthusiasts are running a petition on “Change.org” to persuade Microsoft to reverse its reported decision to cancel its unannounced dual-screen computing device, the media reported. All the fans of Windows phone want Microsoft to release the Surface Phone or “Surface Andromeda Phone Project” that has been leaking out lately with the phone screen that can turn into a tablet, the petition read.

“The original writer of the Change.org petition, Zachary Hinski, speculates that consumers may not mind paying $799-$999 for the device. That cost would be in line with the price for some of today’s flagship phones, but it’s unclear if Microsoft would be able to get the price that low, given the innovative size that would have gone into the design,” Digital Trends reported on 7 July. There have been reports that the tech giant was rethinking its Surface Phone strategy. This is partly because of scheduling and quality, sources say, but more so because there’s still no compelling reason for Microsoft to come to market with its current iteration of a small, dual-screen mobile device, according to ZDNet.”However, this doesn’t mean that the Surface Phone has been canceled and it could still launch at some point in the future with a form factor that is more like a small foldable PC rather than a phone-sized device,” ZDNet added.

Here is how Project treble will work on newer Oneplus smartphones.

Oneplus just announced that starting from Oneplus 5 all its new phones will support Google’s project treble.

OnePlus, after a change of heart, has decided to bring Google’s Project Treble in OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T. The feature is being tested in the latest open beta update and a stable version will arrive soon.

Along with Treble, the Oxygen OS open beta version, carries changes in user interface, colour customisation, new design for the weather app, etc.

The upshot of Treble is that OEMs don’t have to get updated code from their hardware partners for each Android update — the vendor partition is forward compatible. That means faster updates longer into the future. All phones that launch with Android 8.0 or later need to have Treble support, but older phones only get Treble in an update if the company wants to deal with the hassle. The OP5 and 5T both launched with Android Nougat.

We’ve talked in great depth about the benefits that Treble brings to custom AOSP-based development, but given that the OnePlus 5/5T already have a strong development community behind them the benefit of Treble won’t be felt in this area. Instead, Treble compatibility will make it easier for OnePlus to push security patch updates to better support the devices in the long-term as they have recently promised. We’ll have to wait and see if bringing Project Treble support to the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T will yield real benefits for the devices, but we’re confident that it’ll help.
